Opinions were shared on new cooperation prospects and joint business initiatives of Azerbaijani and Turkish businesspersons at a public hearing on "Cooperation with Turkish businesspersons' associations" conducted by the Public Council under KOBİA.
A public hearing on "Cooperation with Turkish businesspersons' associations" was held under the organization of the Public Council under the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), with the support of KOBİA and the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of Azerbaijan (ASK).
Representatives from organizations, business associations, such as MUSIAD Azerbaijan, Businessmen and Industrialists of Türkiye and Azerbaijan (TUİB), Azerbaijan- Türkiye Businessmen Union (ATİB), operating in Azerbaijan and uniting hundreds of businesspersons attended the event.
The activities of Turkish businesspersons operating in our country, the prospects of expanding relations between Azerbaijani and Turkish entrepreneurs, the potential contribution of public-private cooperation to the development of existing relations, challenges and joint measures to tackle them were all discussed at the public hearing.
At the event, development of existing cooperation platforms between the businesspeople of the two countries and implementation of joint projects, as well as the investment avenues by Turkish businesspersons in the priority areas of Azerbaijan's economy were discussed as well.
Speaking at the event, Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of KOBİA, Mammad Musayev, President of ASK, Farhad Garashov, Chairman of the Public Council, Rashad Jabirli, Chairman of the Board of "MUSIAD Azerbaijan", Mursal Rustamov, Chairman of ATIB, and Huseyin Buyukfirat, Chairman of the Board of TUIB underlined that the relations between our countries are advancing in all senses, the positive dynamics of cooperation have contributed to the further expansion of relations between business entities, the implementation of joint projects and investments. Furthermore, they shared their ideas and proposals on the prospects of cooperation between business circles.
The public hearing featured a discussion on the expansion of cooperation between Turkish businesspersons and local SMBs, joint initiative, implementation of projects and events with the involvement of entrepreneurs from both countries, exchange of experience, new directions of cooperation, as well as proposals of entrepreneurs were heard, and their questions were addressed.
