KOBİA, the International Association of Transporters of Türkiye, the Association of Azerbaijan Customs Representation and Logistics Companies and SMB Foreign Economic Activity Support Operator have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support the expansion of cooperation in international transportation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.


A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), the International Association of Transporters of Türkiye, the Association of Azerbaijan Customs Representation and Logistics Companies (AACRLC) and the SMB Foreign Economic Activity Support Operator (FEASO) was signed at Baku SMB House.

 

The MoU was signed by Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of KOBİA, Fatih Sener, vice president of the International Transporters Association of Türkiye, Kamran Habibov, Executive Director of FEASO, and Vusal Gasimov, Executive Director of AACRLC.

 

The Memorandum of Understanding specifies the expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye on international freight transportation, joint support for associated concerns issues in this area, as well as assistance to the overseas economic activities of carriers and SMBs of both countries. 

As part of the signing ceremony, a meeting was also held between the parties, issues arising from the relevant MoU and cooperation avenues were discussed.
