
Caspian Textile, established with state support from the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) and Birge Invest, is increasing production capacity and product range.
The establishment of the enterprise operating in the Garadagh district of Baku was supported by and Birge Invest through access to financial resources, business planning and organization, conducting internal market research, drawing up a business plan, and training for staff.
On April 5, SMBDA representatives got acquainted with the production process at the enterprise and exchanged views on future plans and necessary support.
It was reported that the company currently produces various uniforms, school, work and other clothing, sells helmets, gloves, shoes and respirators. Equipped with modern equipment, the company has sewing, painting, embroidery, model design and construction offices. Over the past year, the company has reached a monthly production capacity of 15,000 sets of clothing. Relevant work is being done to produce new textile products and increase the enterprise's production capacity to 30,000 garments a month. The company employs about 60 people. Attention is paid to the employment of people belonging to vulnerable groups in appropriate positions.
