Event Held at KOBIA in Connection with June 15 – National Salvation Day 13.06.25

An event titled “From National Salvation to the Full Restoration of Sovereignty” was held at the Baku SME House to mark June 15 – National Salvation Day. The event was organized by the territorial party organization of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) under the Narimanov District Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP).

At the beginning of the event, Members of Parliament, representatives of KOBIA, and officials of the YAP Narimanov district organization laid flowers in front of the bust of the National Leader at the Baku SME House.

The official program commenced with the playing of the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, followed by a minute of silence in memory of the National Leader and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

A short film prepared by KOBIA about the life and legacy of Heydar Aliyev was then screened.

Members of Parliament Sadig Gurbanov and Samir Valiyev, Chairman of KOBIA’s Management Board Orkhan Mammadov, and Head of the YAP Narimanov District Organization Elchin Guliyev addressed the audience, highlighting the exceptional significance of National Salvation Day in Azerbaijan’s history. The speakers emphasized the far-reaching reforms initiated by National Leader Heydar Aliyev, which laid the foundation for the country’s development. It was noted that June 15, 1993, marked a turning point—rescuing Azerbaijan from political chaos, the threat of losing its independence, and civil war. At the people’s insistence, Heydar Aliyev returned to power on that date, ushering in an era of stability, launching systematic economic reforms, and creating a favorable environment for entrepreneurship. The speakers also underscored that the comprehensive development strategy set forth by the National Leader is today being successfully continued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev.

As part of the event, newly admitted members of the New Azerbaijan Party from among KOBIA’s staff were presented with party membership cards. In addition, several KOBIA employees were awarded honorary diplomas by the YAP Narimanov District Organization for their active participation in party activities.
