“INNOLAND” held a presentation on SMBDA’s support and services 20.12.21

"Innovation Center" of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan arranged a presentation on the Small and Medium Business Development Agency’s (SMBDA) support and services for startups-residents of the "INNOLAND "Incubation and Acceleration Center.

The event was attended by the acting Director of the “Innovation Center” Vusal Rustamov, advisor to the chairman of the SMBDA Board Zaur Gardashov, and others.

During the presentation, the director of SMBDA’s Business service department Natig Heydarov and the Department employee Humbat Abdullayev provided detailed information on the “Startup” certificate issued to micro and small entrepreneurs and exempting them from income tax and tax on income from innovation activity for 3 years.

Startups were also informed of SMBDA’s domestic market research mechanism and grant competition for funding educational, scientific, research, and support projects, and participants were invited to actively use the Agency’s support and services.

At the event, the participants’ views on the development of their startups were also heard, and their questions were answered.
