“Investment Journey” Event Held in Shirvan This Time

Business entities operating in Shirvan have been informed about access to alternative financing opportunities through the capital markets.

In addition to traditional bank loans, entrepreneurs can utilize a range of alternative financing instruments. Among these, securities offer businesses new avenues to attract investment, enhance financial resilience, and implement their growth strategies. To ensure that entrepreneurs operating in the regions are aware of these opportunities and gain practical knowledge, the “Investment Journey” initiative is continuing in 2025 as well.

An event was held in Shirvan as part of the “Investment Journey” project with the participation of the Central Bank, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA), the Baku Stock Exchange, the Shirvan City Executive Authority, and several investment companies.

During the event, presentations were delivered on topics including the Baku Stock Exchange’s Listing Advisory Program, methods for engaging businesses in alternative financing, underwriting services in securities issuance, and the advantages of becoming an investor in the capital market. Participants were also given the opportunity to ask questions and receive detailed responses.

It is worth noting that this was the fifteenth event of its kind. The primary objective of the regularly held “Investment Journey” events is to raise awareness among regional business entities about the capital market as an alternative source of financing.
