At the meeting between KOBİA and GIZ, mutual avenues were shared on joint projects and cooperation opportunities in the field of SMBs.


Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), met with Sandra Schenke, Country Director for Azerbaijan and Georgia of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).


At the meeting, joint projects in the field of SMBs, including the "Digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Eastern Partnership countries" Program, works carried out within the scope of the "Joint Germany-Azerbaijani Program on Professional Development Managers in the Business Community of Azerbaijan" coordinated by GIZ and KOBİA, and cooperation opportunities were discussed. It was highlighted that some 50 Azerbaijani businesspersons and managers will benefit from the German-Azerbaijani Joint Program by the end of 2023. Managers are pleased with the new format of the program, covering innovative areas of the economy and involves the attendance of various groups. At the meeting, ideas were shared on the extension of the Germany-Azerbaijani Joint Program.
