Meetings held with entrepreneurs

The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) studies the needs and proposals of entrepreneurs based on surveys, field meetings and analysis of incoming applications.Meetings with entrepreneurs were held in Absheron, Gakh, Aghdam and Ismayilli with the organization of the agency and involvement  of relevant government agencies.

 

The challenges entrepreneurs face and their solutions, access to financial resources, support for new business establishment and other issues were discussed at the meeting held with entrepreneurs from public catering and service field in Absheron region.

 

At the meeting held in Galinchak village of Ismayilli district to study the challenges of business entities from agricultural field, farmers were informed about governmental support mechanisms to the agricultural sector, innovations in this field, and questions from entrepreneurs were addressed.

 

A meeting was held with business entities operating in Gakh city`s tourism sector. At the meeting with the participation of over 30 entrepreneurs, the challenges and needs of business entities were heard within the framework of the state-entrepreneur cooperation platform, and they were informed about legislation and support mechanisms in the relevant field.

 

More 20 business entities attended the meeting on surveying the challenges of women entrepreneurs in agriculture. At the meeting held attended by the relevant agencies, including the Upper Karabakh regional division of the Ministry of Economy, discussions were held on the involvement of women entrepreneurs in relevant trainings, benefiting from concessional loans for the expansion of livestock farming by business entities, the purchase of subsidies, agrarian insurance and other needs of entrepreneurs, and questions from business owners were addressed.
