At the meetings, innovations in the field of entrepreneurship and the requirements of legislation were conveyed to business entities, and their questions were addressed.

Throughout August, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) organized meetings with entrepreneurs across diverse sectors - from agritourism to ISO standards, from industry to digital business. Other topics discussed with business representatives included women’s entrepreneurship, the promotion of youth involvement in business activities, horticulture, livestock farming, cotton production, and import-export operations.

The meetings were conducted both online and offline in Baku, Sumgayit, and Nakhchivan cities, as well as in Bilasuvar, Masalli, Gabala, Aghjabadi, Aghstafa, Khachmaz, and Ismayilli districts.

During the meetings, entrepreneurs’ requests and proposals were heard, information was provided on state support mechanisms, and solutions to challenges were discussed jointly with relevant institutions. Furthermore, business entities were briefed on recent developments in the entrepreneurial field and on legislative requirements.

In total, more than 200 entrepreneurs participated in these meetings. Information regarding meetings to be held in September can be found on KOBIA’s website: https://smb.gov.az/az/events?slug=gorus
