Sectoral meetings with entrepreneurs within the framework of the public-private partnership platform are continued to study the difficulties and needs of Micro, Small, and Medium Businesses, listen to their proposals and forward them on to relevant organizations.
In January alone, Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) organized sectoral meetings with the participation of more than 350 entrepreneurs in more than 20 districts and cities, as well as relevant agencies.
During the online meetings with the entrepreneurs of the Tourism and Catering sector, the parties discussed difficulties arising in these areas due to the pandemic, state support provided and possibility of applying various benefits, access to financial resources, compilation of regional roadmaps on Tourism, development of Agro-tourism, creation of online platforms offering tourism services and other issues. The discussion was held with relevant agencies and business associations.
At the meeting organized with about 40 beekeepers from Saatli district, the sides exchanged views on the creation of a packaging enterprise in this field, sales and branding, the allocation of relevant areas for the production of licorice honey and the increase of licorice plant harvest, the increase in the number of laboratory centers, Export, promoting more honey in the ration, and other sectoral issues, and the questions of entrepreneurs were answered by representatives of relevant agencies.
During the sectoral meetings held with entrepreneurs and companies operating in the field of Food, Greenhouse Industry, Cocoon, cotton and polyethylene packages production, the issues of introducing products greenhouse products to markets, the difficulties associated with the cultivation, ways to reduce the cost of production in greenhouses, storages of cocoon and feed base, the use of the body of cotton plant as a semi-finished product in Furniture industry, recent changes to the legislation on the production of polyethylene packages and the application of national standards were discussed accordingly.
Within the framework of the public-private partnership platform in the coming months, sectoral meetings with SMBs in the regions will be continued through SMBDA`s "SMB Friend" network.
