Micro and small entrepreneurs demonstrated their products and services at the 14th Azerbaijan International Agriculture Exhibition “Caspian Agro 2021” and the 26th Azerbaijan International Food Industry Exhibition “InterFood Azerbaijan 2021”, which opened today at the Baku Expo Center.
At a special stand created with the support of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, micro and small entrepreneurs demonstrate various herbal teas, spices, oils, dried fruits, cookies, packaging products, etc. SMBs from Baku, Ganja, as well as Absheron, Gabala, and Zagatala regions, demonstrate their products and services at a specially dedicated stand and hold various business meetings to expand sales opportunities and establish new business ties.
Exhibitions are important to expand sales opportunities for entrepreneurs, especially micro and small businesses, and develop business relations. Since 2018, SMBDA has been supporting startups and micro and small businesses in demonstrating their products and services at specialized exhibitions. To date, over 170 startups and micro and small enterprises have received the Agency's support.
SMBDA is also among the organizations supporting the “Caspian Agro 2021” and “InterFood Azerbaijan 2021” exhibitions.
Note that “Caspian Agro 2021” and “InterFood Azerbaijan 2021” are the first exhibitions held in a traditional format after a long break due to the coronavirus pandemic. More than 240 companies from about 30 countries of the world participate in the exhibitions.
