Opportunities for cooperation in SMB discussed at the meeting of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Intergovernmental Commission

At the meeting of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, it was stated that the cooperation between the business circles of both countries has expanded, and the contacts of relevant institutions have increased for the purpose of developing ties between SMBs.

The 19th meeting of the joint Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Baku.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) Orkhan Mammadov pointed out that the positive dynamics of economic and trade relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan brings about huge amount of opportunities for expanding cooperation between business circles. It was noted that cooperation within the framework of documents signed between KOBİA and related institutions of Kazakhstan is underway to develop relations amongst business persons  of the two countries in various fields. For the purpose of developing relations between SMEs, contacts with relevant organizations of Kazakhstan are growing.

Note: The co-chairs of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Kazakhstan are the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov and Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Minister of Trade and Integration Serik Zhumangarin.
