As part of the promotional exhibition of local companies on the theme of "Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijani entrepreneurship", panel discussions were held on investment opportunities and digitalization of business in the liberated territories.

 

The promotional exhibition of local companies dedicated to "Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijani entrepreneurship" held in "Baku Crystal Hall" has completed.

 

The exhibition, which held on June 8-10, showcased the products and services of some 200 local companies operating in industry, agriculture, food, ICT, education, construction, logistics, textile and other fields. The exhibition drew 26 thousand visitors over the three days.

 

It is worth stressing that the exhibition marking the 100th anniversary of the birth of the national leader Heydar Aliyev was held with the support of the Ministry of Economy, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) and "Marsol Group" and the official partnership of "Kapital Bank". The National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of Azerbaijan, the State Employment Agency, the "National Association of Businessmen's Society", "Prestige Chemistry", "Gadabay Mineral Waters", "Moon Group" and "BHB" strategic and creative media agency are among the supporters of the exhibition.


KOBİA had its own stand at the exhibition. With the support of the Agency, 13 SMBs operating in the fields of food, agriculture, publishing, industry, ICT and services, including 2 women entrepreneurs from the Azerbaijan Women's Entrepreneurship Development Association, displayed their products and services. 

 

Two panel discussions were organized as part of the exhibition. At the panel discussion on “Great return – investment opportunities and concessions in the liberated territories” in the liberated territories included in the Karabakh economic region (except Shusha region) held on June 9, the representatives of the Special Delegation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, KOBİA, the Economic Zones Development Agency, the Entrepreneurship Development Fund and the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of Azerbaijan provided information on business opportunities, priority directions for entrepreneurial activity, concessions and supports, population settlement plans, opportunities developed for entrepreneurs by the industrial parks in these areas.

 

At the panel discussion on "Economic transformation against the background of modern challenges: formation of competitive and sustainable businesses" organized on June 10, the representatives of the Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4SIM), the Agency for Innovation and Digital Development, the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of Azerbaijan and Kapital Bank OJSC reported on topics such as the role of modern technologies in starting competitive and sustainable businesses, digitization of businesses, innovative technologies in the agribusiness sector, and the impact of technologies on business networking.
