The Rwandan delegation visited SMB houses operating in Baku and Khachmaz, and presentations were held on the support and services provided to entrepreneurs.
A delegation from the Rwanda Development Board visited Azerbaijan to study the country’s advanced experience in providing services to entrepreneurs, explore state support mechanisms, and become closely acquainted with the SMB House model.
Within the framework of the visit organized by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA), the delegation visited SMB Houses operating in the cities of Baku and Khachmaz. During the visits, the guests were provided with detailed information about the operating principles of this model and the services offered to entrepreneurs. It was noted that the “G2B” and “B2B” services provided at SMB Houses help facilitate business activities and minimize time loss for entrepreneurs. The delegation was also informed about the implementation experience of the SMB House model, the results achieved, and the efforts undertaken to increase entrepreneur satisfaction, and views were exchanged on the possibilities of implementing the SMB House model in Rwanda.
The Rwandan delegation visited the Khachmaz SMB House and its service center operating at the “Food City” Agropark in Khudat city to learn about the regional implementation of the SMB House model and were informed about efforts to increase entrepreneurs’ access to services in the regions, the support provided to local businesses, and the contribution of SMB Houses to regional business development.
The delegation also met with representatives of KOBIA, where presentations were made on the support and services provided to SMBs in Azerbaijan and their questions were answered.
During the visit, the Rwandan delegation also held meetings with the Economic Zones Development Agency, the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the “ASAN service” center, the Azerbaijan Business Development Fund, and other institutions.
