Seminar organized for SMBs to be attended professional development courses in Germany in 2020 16.12.19

The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan organized a seminar for entrepreneurs and managers who will be trained in academic and manufacturing facilities in Germany in 2020.

In the two-day seminar, the representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Munich and Upper Bavaria of Germany provided the participants with detailed information on the “German-Azerbaijani Joint Program for the professional development of Managers in the Business Community of Azerbaijan," international economic cooperation, and opportunities to establish business relations with companies in Germany within the training, and answered the questions of entrepreneurs.

Note: “German-Azerbaijani Joint Program for the professional development of Managers in the Business Community of Azerbaijan" has been implemented since 2009 under the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy of Germany. More than 400 entrepreneurs and managers have benefited from the program for 10 years since its launch. Entrepreneurs and managers to partake in the program in 2020 were selected based on competition and interview. The first group of 22 successful entrepreneurs and managers will be trained on February 17 - March 13, 2020, at the Training Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Munich and Upper Bavaria, Germany, and will have their internship in German enterprises. The next group is scheduled to undergo professional development training courses in June-July 2020 in Cologne, Germany.
