SMBDA and British Council discussed the opportunities for cooperation

A meeting was held between the Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) Orkhan Mammadov and the British Council Country Director in Azerbaijan Summer Xia.

 

At the meeting, Orkhan Mammadov spoke about the support provided to the development of micro, small, and medium businesses in the country, the SMBDA’s activities, training and consulting services provided by the Agency to business entities, and the work of the SMB Development Centers (SMBDCs).

 

The British Council Country Director in Azerbaijan Summer Xia shared her opinion on the work done to develop the business skills of young entrepreneurs under the programs supported by the organization, as well as the prospects for cooperation with the SMBDCs in this sphere.

 

At the meeting, the parties exchanged views on cooperation with the SMBDCs in the field of arranging training programs for entrepreneurs and supporting startups.
