The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan supports parties willing to engage in entrepreneurship in the regions to join the "Social Gardens" project.
Note that the "Social Gardens" project is implemented jointly by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection and the "Regional Development" Public Union of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
Support was provided to the resident of Surra village of the Shabran region, who applied to SMBDA with the request to carry out entrepreneurial activity, and a garden of 400 almonds was plant in resident owned 60 acres’ share land lot. This is the first almond garden built under the "Social Gardens" project.
In line with its activities, SMBDA regularly informs small and medium businesses about state support mechanisms, new projects, and activities, and liaises between entrepreneurs and relevant agencies to use these mechanisms.
