SMBDA received over 1,300 applications in March-April 07.05.2020

From March to April this year, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan received 746 applications regarding the following concerns, 370 - coronavirus pandemic and related issues, including the difficulties faced by entrepreneurs due to the pandemic, and available state and financial support measures for entrepreneurs, 225 - development of entrepreneurship, 105 – entrepreneurship related issues, 50 - support and services provided by SMBDA to entrepreneurs, as well as other matters.

During March-April, SMBDA received 598 applications at Call Center (131) with the following applications (299 - coronavirus pandemic and related issues, including the difficulties faced by entrepreneurs due to the pandemic and the financial support measures provided to them, 71 - support to start a business and expand existing businesses, 228 - the Agency's support mechanisms, access to finance, cooperation and other issues.

The applications received by SMBDA were answered in accordance with the legislation, and the applications requiring further investigation were reviewed by the structural units of the Agency and the relevant information was provided to the entrepreneurs.
