SMBDA to cooperate with Huawei

Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SMBDA), met with Canlin Lu, Executive Director of "Huawei Tech Azerbaijan" LLC.

The views were exchanged on the support of innovative start-ups in Azerbaijan, creation of support models for SMBs within the framework of cooperation, expansion of student and startup cooperation with Huawei at the meeting.

The Chairman of SMBDA emphasized the importance given to innovation and new technologies and the support for start-ups in our country, highlighted the activities of SMBDA, its support to micro, small and medium businesses, as well as cooperation opportunities with Huawei.

Canlin Lu, Executive Director of "Huawei Tech Azerbaijan" LLC, shared his ideas on increasing the role of SMBs in ICT and by highlighting the activities of "Huawei" undertaken in Azerbaijan, he mentioned that the establishment of the SMB Development Centers under the Agency's structure and opportunities to cooperate with those centers could be considered.
