SME friend has started in Zagatala region 08.02.22

Entrepreneurs and those who want to start a business from Zagatala can now contact a SME friend for support and services. Zagatala SME friend, which started operating today, is the third in Sheki-Zagatala economic region. In total, the SME friend network currently covers 28 cities and regions of the country.

On February 8, organized by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA), with the participation of the Zagatala District Executive Power, entrepreneurs and representatives of relevant agencies serving them, the SME friend was presented to the business community of the region .

Chairman of the Board of SMBDA Orkhan Mammadov informed about the activities of the Agency and the SME friend mechanism. It was noted that the SME friend will provide state support for the establishment of new businesses in the region, the development of existing SMEs, as well as the services of SMEs on the spot. It will also support the protection of the interests of entrepreneurs and address the challenges they face, the implementation and education of investment initiatives, and study the development needs and proposals of business entities through surveys. The SME friend will also act as a bridge between government agencies and entrepreneurs, providing mobile services to entrepreneurs if necessary.

The head of the Zagatala District Executive Power, Mubariz Ahmadzadeh, stressed that the launch of the SME friend will contribute to the development of entrepreneurship and the creation of new business entities in the region.

The event featured screenings of informational films on the support and services provided by SMEs to entrepreneurs, the SME friend mechanism, and answered questions from entrepreneurs.

Then the participants got acquainted with the conditions created for the reception, support and services of entrepreneurs in the SME friend office located in the Heydar Aliyev Center in Zagatala. "SME Volunteers" will also operate in the SME Friend office.

On the same day, SMBDA representatives also visited the SME Development Center (SME Development Center) in Zagatala. It should be noted that Zagatala-Balakan SME is one of the SME development centers operating in 21 cities and regions of the country. As in other SMEs, trainings, consulting and other services are provided to increase the knowledge and awareness of entrepreneurs, startups and people who want to start a new business in the field of entrepreneurship. All services provided by SMEs are free of charge.
