The first "Startup" certificates for 2024 were presented to 7 more SMBs by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA). One of the recipients of the certificate is Shamistan Alizadeh, an individual entrepreneur. He was awarded a certificate for a game-based online education platform project for students.

Shamistan Alizadeh provided information to Marja.az about the "Game-Based Education Platform".

He said that dahi.az is a free educational support game application for students:

"Since we cannot take away phones from students, we are trying to make phones useful for them.

By answering quizzes and tests regarding their classes and subjects via the dahi.az mobile application, students can win cash prizes. Students can turn the "coins" they have earned into money by collecting them after finishing each level. Additionally, there are general, monthly, and daily genius rankings for students in our mobile application. Based on their score, students are ranked in this order. With this ranking system, they also receive additional honours.”

Highlighting the functions of the dahi.az mobile application, Shamistan Alizadeh noted that this app has Category Game module, Group Challenge module, One-on-one Challenge module, Daily Challenge module, Fun and learn module, Test Yourself module, Language Learning module, Voice Question module and Knowledge Competition module.

The application is completely free for students. Dahi.az is the only educational and gaming platform that gives cash prizes to students.

Shamistan Alizadeh emphasized that the KOBİA certificate opens up many great opportunities for startups:

"We will also exhibit our startup at the exhibition to be held by KOBİA on February 29, 2024. Furthermore, our collaboration with Technopark of Baku Engineering University is about to be formalized. We will sign a mutual agreement by February 15. Several educational centres (Zafar courses in Khirdalan, Pifagor Academy, Ufug Development Center, Dayanat Training Center, etc.) have applied for cooperation with us.
