The "German-Azerbaijani joint program to improve the skills of managers in the business community of Azerbaijan" continues in a hybrid format.
A two-day training was held in Baku for 28 entrepreneurs and managers who were successful in the interviews held from March 29 to April 5 this year. The training, taught by experts from Germany, provided information on international experience in the field of management, and individual meetings were held with each participant. In addition, a graduate of the program was invited to the training and he provided useful advice on how to use the program more effectively.
Starting from May 2, a virtual training was organized for managers and entrepreneurs. Participants who successfully complete the training course will be awarded an international certificate. In the next stage, the participants will travel to Germany for 2 weeks to negotiate with relevant companies and establish economic cooperation.
It should be noted that 7 managers and entrepreneurs who participated in the program virtually during the pandemic are currently visiting Germany. During the visit, which will last until May 10, trainings and business meetings will be organized for them.
The next group of entrepreneurs and managers is scheduled to visit Germany on May 16-24. The costs of participating in the trainings are covered by Germany.
At the same time, the program held networking with managers representing tourism, ICT, logistics, construction, energy, winemaking, sugar beet production, recycling of household waste and other production and service areas. The purpose of the meeting was to expand business relations between entrepreneurs and managers who participated in the program in 2009-2021.
It should be noted that 480 entrepreneurs and managers have participated in the training course within the framework of the "German-Azerbaijani joint program to improve the skills of managers in the business community of Azerbaijan" coordinated by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) in Azerbaijan and GIZ in Germany and have acquired knowledge and international experience in management. Since last year, due to the pandemic, the training course has been continued online. Entrepreneurs and managers who want to join the program can contact KOBİA.
