Measures are ongoing to ensure self-employment of the residents of Agali village of Zangilan district, who were among the first participants of the great return to the liberated territories. Within the framework of the self-employment program, assets were given to 3 village families.
A total of 30 villagers were involved in the self-employment program organized by the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), the Agrarian Services Agency under the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Zangilan District Executive Authority.
At the initial stage, business trainings were organized for them. Participants in the trainings received in-depth knowledge on entrepreneurial activities and pertinent support mechanisms. These individuals will be given resources within the program's framework in the upcoming months for the car repair, construction, home equipment repair, tailoring, hairdressing, beauty salon, manufacture of flour goods, trade and other economic fields.
There are also vocational training courses set up to improve the villagers' professional knowledge and broaden their employment options. A tailoring course was initially launched in the village area in collaboration with "Gill MED" LLC, which was established with the support of KOBİA. Six villagers are currently enrolled in that course.
