The implementation of the project "Improved promotion and marketing of traditional food products" continues

The technical assistance project funded by the EU under the European Neighborhood Instrument and whose beneficiaries are the Ministry of Economy and the Agency for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMBDA), "Improving the promotion and marketing of traditional food products" is ongoing.


The aim of the project is to support the development of an informed, market-oriented and competitive small and medium-sized agribusiness sector that will contribute to economic development in rural areas by increasing sales of traditional agricultural and food products. 


The next event was held with the participation of experts from the Ministries of Economy and Agriculture, the Food Safety Agency, the Intellectual Property Agency, the Innovation Agency, the Institute of Standardization and the project. At the event, a representative of SMBDA made a presentation on "Problems, limitations and the current situation of entrepreneurs related to the quality schemes and certification of traditional food products."
