The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) continues its meetings with entrepreneurs. The next such meeting was organized on July 22 in Gakh district. The meeting organized by KOBİA and Gakh District Executive Authority was attended by entrepreneurs from Gakh and surrounding regions, representatives of state institutions providing services to entrepreneurs in the region.

At the meeting, the needs for the development of their business were discussed with the entrepreneurs, their proposals and the problems they faced were heard, and information was given about the state support mechanisms, including the support and services provided by KOBİA.

Within the framework of the event, KOBİA's Friend of Small and Medium Business in Gakh region - SME friend was presented to the business community of the region. This is the 4th SME friend in Sheki-Zagatala economic district. Currently, SME friends operate in 35 cities and districts of the country.

The SME friend office for Gakh region will operate in the Heydar Aliyev Center of the region. The SME friend will provide comprehensive state support to the establishment of new business entities and the development of existing SMEs in the region. For this purpose, SME friend will take appropriate measures, provide support and services in the direction of protecting the interests of entrepreneurs, realizing investment initiatives, informing about business issues, and solving the problems faced by entrepreneurs.

At the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of KOBİA Orkhan Mammadov noted the importance of the activity of SME friends in terms of providing on-the-spot support to entrepreneurs, and invited entrepreneurs to close cooperation with the SME friend.

Within the framework of the event, films were demonstrated about the support mechanisms provided by the Agency to SMEs, and questions of interest to entrepreneurs were answered.

Also, KOBİA representatives visited the beekeeping farm in Gakh and took interest in the operation of the farm and local honey production.
