The YAP conference reported on the SMBDA’s support to entrepreneurs wishing to build a business in Karabakh

On December 24, the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) arranged a scientific-practical conference “Karabakh: a new view of the world from the South Caucasus”.

Speaking at the event, the chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) Orkhan Mammadov stressed that the territories liberated from the occupation create new business opportunities. It was noted that SMBs have ample opportunities to implement business projects there in agriculture, tourism, industry, services, and other areas. Increasing the role of SMBs in economic reintegration would have a positive impact on employment. To date, SMBDA has received more than 900 applications from entrepreneurs wishing to build their businesses in the territories liberated from the occupation. SMBDA continues to receive applications from entrepreneurs wishing to build a business and invest in the territories liberated from the occupation and provides them with the required information, coordination, and consulting services.
