The Minister of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye, who became familiar with the activities of Baku SMB House, was informed about the facilitation of business activities by SMB houses and the forthcoming innovations in this field.
During the visit to our country, the delegation headed by the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye Omer Bolat paid a visit to the Baku SMB House and became acquainted with the favourable environment created for the provision of services for entrepreneurs in a single place.
Sahib Mammadov, Deputy Minister of Economy, and Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), briefed the Turkish delegation about the concept of the SMB house, its goals, the facilitation of business operations by the SMB houses, and the planned innovations in this field.
In accordance with the relevant decrees of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in order to improve the state services provided to business, provide easy and convenient access to these services, and boost the satisfaction of entrepreneurs, SMB houses were established as part of KOBİA. SMB houses strive to provide entrepreneurs with the services of public and private institutions in a single space in line with the ideals of promptness, transparency, courtesy, responsibility and convenience. It saves the entrepreneur time, lowers operational costs, ensures transparent and prompt organization of services boosts entrepreneur satisfaction, and makes the level of service measurable. Entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply to SMB houses for business registration, obtaining licenses and permits, developing a business plan, accessing preferential financial resources, connecting to tax, customs, public utilities, banking, insurance, notary and other necessary business services.
During the meeting with the SMB House, opinions were shared on the provision of services to entrepreneurs by state and private institutions, as well as the use of current technologies and innovations in this field.
The Turkish delegation, for its part, stated that the experience of "Baku SMB House" had a beneficial impact on them.
