On 30 August, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) and the Financial Market Supervision Authority of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with the support of the Gabala District Executive Authority conducted a training on working principles and advantages of movable property encumbrance for micro, small and medium enterprises.
Detailed information was provided on registry, types, and subject of incumbrance, its benefit for entrepreneurs and financial entities at the event organized with the presence of entrepreneurs and representatives of credit institutions. They were informed that with an exception of movable property registered in the official movable property registry and securities subject to state registration, subject of encumbrance consists of any movable property, as well as rights and claims, including movable property to be included in security holder’s property in the future. Movable property may include any equipment, agriculture machinery and objects used in the business.
The participants were informed on SMBDA activities during the event. It was highlighted that the main purpose of the Agency is carrying out necessary support activities at all the stages of the establishment and development of small and medium entrepreneurship. This kind of activities covers the application of advanced organization models, development of sustainable the training system, integration of new ideas and innovations into business, protection of entrepreneurs’ interests, ease of access to preferential sources of financing and other directions.
The training also included presentations on the insurance market, market parameters and types of insurance.
