It should be noted that ISO 22000 is a management system standard that covers the prerequisites for food chain organizations to ensure food safety and control food safety threats. Approved by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) on September 1, 2005, ISO 22000: 2005 is the first international standard for food safety management. ISO 22000 certification provides companies operating in this area with many important benefits. Thus, the certificate plays a major role in terms of capacity to minimize risks at each stage of production, reduce production costs, prevent food problems for consumers, production, supply, transport, etc. It is important to establish communication between the participants of the stages, implement better warehouse control, and minimize the waste of resources. At the same time, it becomes easier for a company with an ISO 22000 standard to compete in the international arena, and achieve increasing trust in the company's products.
