The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) presented “SMB Virtual Enterprise” for the first time at the 25th Azerbaijan International Telecommunications, Innovation, and High Technologies (Bakutel) Exhibition which opened on December 3 at the Baku Expo Center.

The virtual enterprise, presented in collaboration with Deloitte, simulates the production line and the new product development process. The goal is to enable users to become familiar with the business routine, to develop appropriate management and professional habits, and develop skills while fostering a real enterprise environment. SMB Virtual Enterprise enables cost savings by allowing to test the areas, such as asset management, staff training, quality control, and single process control centre. Here the production process is monitored online, and the data is obtained immediately, which makes the management process more agile for managers.

Products and services of 10 start-ups and small businesses are also displayed at a separate stand at the exhibition with the organization of SMBDA and support of Pasha Holding and backbone Internet provider "AzerTelecom." Medical examination software and equipment, English language learning program, cybersecurity services, parts of noise making toys, web design and ads portals, hotel services, municipal waste management equipment, an online agronomist in the field of agriculture and other services are presented at a special stand designed to support startups and entrepreneurs operating in the field of ICT.
