Young Entrepreneurs from Azerbaijan and Turkiye Discuss Prospects for Cooperation

During the cooperation meeting, participants engaged in an exchange of experience in entrepreneurial activity and voiced proposals regarding the implementation of joint projects and investment opportunities.

Young entrepreneurs affiliated with the Konya and Gaziantep branches of Turkiye’s “Young MUSIAD” organization are currently on a business visit to Baku. Within the framework of the visit, a cooperation meeting was held at the Baku SME House, jointly organized by “Young MUSIAD Azerbaijan” and the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA), with the participation of young entrepreneurs from both Azerbaijan and Turkiye.

The meeting featured speeches by Samir Humbatov - First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of KOBIA, Akif Bashoglu - Chairman of “Young MUSIAD Azerbaijan”, Asim Elliki - Chairman of the Konya branch and Furkan Bozkurt - Chairman of the Gaziantep branch. They shared their perspectives and proposals regarding cooperation between business communities of the two countries, joint business projects, the development of startup ecosystems, reciprocal investment opportunities, experience exchange in the field of entrepreneurship, and the potential establishment of collaborative platforms in the future.

A presentation was delivered by the Agency highlighting the support extended to entrepreneurship particularly to SMEs in Azerbaijan, as well as the services provided by KOBIA. Turkish entrepreneurs’ questions were addressed, and a promotional video was screened showcasing Azerbaijan’s business and investment climate.

The event concluded with bilateral B2B meetings among participants.

Entrepreneurs were also introduced to the operations and services of the “Baku SME House,” a one-stop service center for business owners.
