Along with various support measures and incentives for micro, small, and medium businesses, the state also supports the expansion of their knowledge and skills and rises the level of their awareness of entrepreneurship. To do this, professional experts provide SMBs, startups, and individuals wishing to create their businesses with training and consulting services, considering the challenges of the time. The SMB Development Centers (SMBDC) arrange business training in Baku, Sumgayit, Khachmaz, Yevlakh, and Shaki in both directly the centers and online format, considering the requirements of the pandemic. Participation in the training is free.

Note that the pieces of training performed by the SMB development centers cover such areas as business planning and development, marketing and sales, finance, taxes, insurance, human resource management, legislation in the field of export and entrepreneurship, professional communication skills, etc. Pieces of training are planned considering the SMB needs, as well as the current challenges and innovations in the field of business. SMBDCs also provide entrepreneurs with individual and group consulting services, develop business plans and projects, support their relations with public and private agencies to implement the SMBs’ business ideas and ensure their access to financial resources, etc.
