“From Us to Business” Startup Competition Launched

The “From Us to Business” startup competition has been launched once again in partnership with the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA), organized by AccessBank OJSC, and supported by Visa.

Both entrepreneurs and startups are eligible to participate in the project.

Now being held for the second time, the project aims to inspire individuals with innovative ideas to establish their own businesses and to contribute to the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem by providing them with financial and mentorship support. The “From Us to Business” competition seeks to create new opportunities for startups that will be evaluated based on the principles of innovation, social impact, and sustainable development.

The stages of the competition are as follows:

October 15 – November 15, 2025 – Submission of applications

November 17–23, 2025 – Selection of 20 eligible business projects

November 24–30, 2025 – Preparation phase for project presentation

December 2–15, 2025 – Selection and preparation of 10 finalist projects

December 22, 2025 – Award ceremony for the winners

The winners will be selected by the Jury. Within the project’s total prize fund of 75,000 AZN, the first-place winner will receive 25,000 AZN, the second-place winner will receive 20,000 AZN, and the third-place winner will receive 15,000 AZN. In addition, a special project selected by Visa will be awarded an additional prize of 15,000 AZN.

It should be noted that the total prize fund of last year’s “From Us to Business” project amounted to 60,000 AZN. This year, however, the initiative is being implemented on a larger scale with an expanded support package.
