In the first half of 2025, nearly 70 sectoral and informational meetings were held with entrepreneurs

Entrepreneurs can obtain information about the meetings on the website of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA).

Under the organization of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA), a total of 68 sectoral and informational meetings were held in Baku and the regions from January to June 2025, with the participation of entrepreneurs and potential business entities.

These meetings, attended by more than 1,400 entrepreneurs, focused on the current needs of businesses in sectors such as access to financial resources, tourism, livestock, tea cultivation, industry, advertising, and others. To increase the participation opportunities for entrepreneurs, some of the meetings were held online.

Sectoral and informational meetings will continue in the second half of 2025. Entrepreneurs can find information about the meetings held each month on KOBIA’s official website (https://smb.gov.az/az/events?slug=gorus).

It is worth noting that such meetings, organized with the participation of relevant government bodies, provide opportunities for direct communication with entrepreneurs, learning about their needs and suggestions on-site, informing them about existing support mechanisms, and discussing practical issues. These meetings are also important for enhancing entrepreneurs' knowledge and skills, networking, and strengthening government-business cooperation. Additionally, the proposals and feedback raised by business entities during the meetings are essential for the development of new support tools and legislative initiatives in the future.
