The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) monthly arranges thematic online meetings for entrepreneurs on various topics. To obtain detailed information on the upcoming thematic meetings in April, micro, small, and medium businesses (SMBs) can visit the official SMBDA website (https://smb.gov.az/en/events?slug=tedbir).
At the thematic meetings arranged with the participation of representatives of relevant government agencies and business associations, the issues of entrepreneurs and ways to solve them are discussed, the SMBs’ needs, and proposals are studied, and answers are given to entrepreneurs’ questions of interest. Appropriate measures are also being taken within the framework of the Public-Private Partnership platform to address issues raised by entrepreneurs at thematic meetings; their proposals are summarized and submitted to the relevant authorities.
SMBDA invites entrepreneurs to take an active part in monthly thematic meetings. Entrepreneurs can also provide their proposals to the Agency on issues they consider necessary to discuss at thematic meetings (info@smb.gov.az).
It should be noted that to date, SMBDA has arranged 60 thematic meetings on various topics. Some issues raised by entrepreneurs at these meetings were positively resolved within the framework of the Public-Private Partnership platform, and some proposals were considered in amending the legislation on entrepreneurship, creating various support mechanisms, and improving existing support measures.
