On December 18, the Virtual Entrepreneurship Fair was launched with the participation of 100 entrepreneurs dealing with 20 business activities demonstrated more than 500 products.

The fair is held within the European Union funded project “Accelerating development of sustainable micro-entrepreneurship in rural regions of Azerbaijan”.

The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) took part in the online event organized by Azerbaijan Micro-finance Association and National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) organization of the Republic of Azerbaijan in an attempt to inform manufacturers, suppliers, consumers and relevant structures about the Virtual fair.

Speaking at the event, Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of SMBDA, stressed that the Agency supports platforms that support the development of micro-entrepreneurship, and expressed confidence that the project, which provides for geographical expansion and support for the implementation of a wide range of products, will be useful. He noted that most participants in the fair are women entrepreneurs, which is especially important for the organization of the platform in the current pandemic.
