SME friend has started its activities in Khizi 11.08.22

SME friends of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) already cover 35 cities and districts of the country. On August 11, the next SME friend started operating in Khizı district. This is the 3rd SME friend in Absheron-Khizi economic district.

Within the framework of the meeting of KOBİA with entrepreneurs operating in the Absheron-Khizi economic district, SME friend of the district of Khizi was presented to the community. Along with representatives of KOBİA, representatives of local executive power and relevant state institutions also participated at the meeting.

The Chairman of the Management Board of KOBİA, Orkhan Mammadov, informed about the activities of the Agency and SME friend mechanism. It was noted that micro, small and medium-sized business subjects can apply to SME friend for issues related to entrepreneurial activity. SME friend will provide the necessary support to individuals and entrepreneurs who want to start a business in Khizi within the existing state support mechanisms and the Agency's services. Also, SME friend will take appropriate measures within the framework of the state-entrepreneur cooperation platform in order to create new business entities in the region, protect the interests of entrepreneurs and solve challenges they face. Noting that the network of SME friends covers most cities and regions of the country, Orkhan Mammadov invited entrepreneurs to actively cooperate with SME friends.

Khazar Aslanov, the head of the Khizi District Executive Power, spoke about the work done in the direction of entrepreneurship development in the district and noted that the activity of the SME friend will be important in the expansion of small and medium entrepreneurship activities in the district and the creation of new business areas.

Films about the SME friend mechanism, KOBİA's support to micro and small entrepreneurs were also shown at the event, and the questions of entrepreneurs were answered.

Then the participants of the event got acquainted with the conditions created for providing support and services to entrepreneurs in the SME friend office located in the Heydar Aliyev Center of Khizi district.
